Objective
Create graphic, vector-based concepts that relate to the story & vibes The Kissing Booth 2 that will be used on the Netflix platform.
Solution
Taking inspiration from the boardwalk and DDR machine in the film, my design partner Lorrin and I came up with these two vector-based concepts.
The first is the ferris wheel that is at the Santa Monica pier as well as palm trees in the background to further illustrate the L.A. feel of this movie.
The second concept is playing off the DDR machine and the dance theme of the film. We used a similar palm tree and neon background to emote the feelings of young L.A. with the neon DDR letters going up the design & into the title treatment.
